WARNING: You need an old iPod to use this!

You need to have an older iPod to be able to use this! Newer iPods require a chip in the cable to be able to use it, this is why it is not working for iphone and iPod touch and new ipod nano users. Only apple products and Apple-licensed products will be able to have this chip in it, which will drive up the prices to a huge $49 or more

Video does not work!!!

The audio works but not the video.
My iTouch displays a message about the cable not being compatible for my unit.
I need to return and deal with the hassles associated with that! :-(

The description for this item is inaccurate and misleading. I purchased this accessory for use with my iPhone 3G specifically because the item description indicated compatibility. The audio will play on your TV screen, but the video will not. THIS ACCESSORY IS NOT 3G COMPATIBLE. There have been several complaints about this, so I am curious why the description has not been changed....

Good: Looks way better than the picture in the description.

Con: Would not work with my 2nd gen ipod touch though according to description it was supposed to. Was not an approved/compatible accessory.

Opinion: Worthless, had to return it.

High-Resolution AV Cable for I-Pod (3G/Classic/Touch/Phone)

This was billed as being I-Pod touch compatible, and it was not. I connected it to my TV to play video from my I-Pod Touch. It did not work--the I-Pod flashed a message that said the device was not compatible. I tried it on another TV. It did not work. It has been tossed in my pile of other "off-brand" junk that does not work as advertised. Don't buy it or you will be disappointed!
