High-density stories

This collection contains so many stories that your child could be kept busy for days. There are a ton of good stories (and couple of not-so-good ones) that you'll remember from when you were a kid. The purchase was definitely worth the money.

My four year old son really enjoys this set. There is a great variety of stories to choose from. The animation is simple- not too busy and overstimulating- but engaging. The stories are classic. I am a teacher as well and many of my colleagues have borrowed dvds from this set. We are very satisfied with this purchase!

a gift the kids loved!

I got this for niece/nephew @ Christmas. One of the tapes was broken - Amazon replaced ASAP - the kids were back to watching them all the time. Their parents read to them, so many of the stories were familiar and this just "brought them to life". I live long distance from them so it's great to have a gift be such a hit!!

Great combination of TV and Books

I purchased this for my 2 year old son about a year ago. It is a great alternative to my kid's regular TV shows. The kids love them, and I don't feel as guilty letting my kids watch as much TV since they are being read classic children's stories.

My mother, who is a 2nd grade teacher, and has voiced her complaints about the restrictions placed on teachers for the movies and shows (not to mention books) she is allowed to show her students, loved these so much that we bought her a set too for Christmas.
